Had my car wrapped and tinted here. Tint was very good but the ppf had a few issues. The ownership was nice with me until they got called out on their sub par work.
The film started coming off around some areas and I brought it in to get fixed free of charge. Their team (Patrick) assured me these areas would be redone and I left the car with them for an entire day under the impression this is what would be done. However instead of rewrapping the areas where the film was coming off, they instead chose just to cut away those areas leaving the part that was covered now exposed. It was super hacky of them and I was pretty surprised they did that considering how high end some of the cars in there were. Maybe because I only had a bmw and not a lambo I got second rate treatment? Why did they take all day to do that? Perhaps a little joy riding in a clients car? In fact one of the owners (Manny) even admitted doing so when I initially dropped off my car the first time to get it wrapped and tinted. Wild.
The resolution they came up with was for me to then go back to their shop in great neck (I live in nj and exclusively sought out this shop because of its credibility and they were one of the few places that carried xpel at the time) which sure, is a resolution but why would I go back to have something fixed again, when I went for the initial reason to begin with? They didn’t consider or value their clients time which is unfortunate and a little ignorant seeing their business charges based on hours of labor. At one point they did try to offer me a $100 discount for the inconvenience, but the principle and lack of accountability of their team’s bad decision and what seemed deceitful was a little insulting.
Either way the car is gone now and I have long since found a much better and affordable shop closer to home but never got around to writing an honest review on this place.
They get 4 stars for the tint, but minus 2 for the bad wrapping, deceit and the bad business tactics they employ.
